whooohooooo! i am back! well, okkkk...almost. i finally made it to tahoe! and i went with some of my favorite people! [to all you other ppl who turned me down, i'll forgive you this time. you're not on my hate list...well, yet anyways...lol, but next time, you BETTER be coming with me!] so, thursday, i went to school, my painting class was pretty fun. i was having some trouble determing colors from my still life, but eh, it wasn't too bad. my teacher liked my work, so it's all good! then speech, but it was kinda boring. but i did learn something funnee...did you know that in canada, "big mac" doesn't mean the burger from mcdonalds? lol, it means "big rack." lol, yes as in boobs. hahahahahaha! i don't know how we got on that topic, but yeah...then, rushed home to pack everything. then went to jon and karen's house to pick them up. mikayla's so cute! awww! =) then mark and hil met us and we were off! it took awhile tho to get anywhere! traffic was horrible! eesh! and i was on mark's truck cuz we needed 3 ppl for carpool. but his truck just has the lil seats, not really a bench...but it was fun tho...lol! [funnee car convos...eww! kissing visuals! hahahahahahahaaha! x-rated and cheap sluts. =P] we stopped off in auburn for dinner. we were looking everywhere for lyons for the prime rib dinner special that they have, but we couldn't find it! so we ended up at this japanese restaurant. it wasn't too bad...just slow. we were originally gonna go to ikedas. it's this great lil produce stand that makes great pies and stuff too. they serve dinner but they closed earlier than we thot. we finally got to the cabin around 10:30. stayed up till 2:30 cuz we were watching the rock. i watched it differently this time since visiting alcatraz. it was cool to see all the "lil stuff" and notice what was real and what wasn't. so yeah...went to bed around 3 got up at 7. went to northstar and thanks to hil and mark, it didn't cost a thing w/ their season passes. =) perfect snow, good weather, not crowded, awesome ppl, i couldn't have asked for a better first day back to the snow! i wouldn't have changed it for anything! well, maybe for longer..but hey, i'll take what i can get at this point. met up with mom, val, and baby for lunch, and then we went back. stayed till 4 and then went back to the house to change, shower, and pack up. then we went to this really awesome sushi place that's 10 min for the cabin. mark and hil always go there. it was soooooo good! for 24 bucks, you can have all you can eat sushi at the sushi bar. the only catch is that you have an hour to eat. geez! it was soooooooo good! really tiny, but good. then we were off. stopped off again in auburn for ice cream and didn't stop after that. got to castro valley around 11:30. got home late and then realized that i have a painting due tuesday that i should've been working for the past 3 weeks!! ahhhh!
so this morning i woke up early, went to michael's to pick up some more supplies and then painted like mad. *sigh* it prolly won't turn out as well as it should, but that's what i get. i can't wait to go up again! hopefully soon...i dunno. i have a dr's appointment tuesday, so, hopefully i didn't ruin anything...but my dr did say that i could go above sea level and i could ski! *sigh*
thank you jon, karen, mikayla, hil, & mark for coming with me to tahoe! i had so much fun with you guys! i can't wait to go up again with you! =D
