*sigh* back to reality. how depressing. back to work and the realization that school is starting in a few weeks. back to unexpected surprises, some of which were not exactly pleasant. but hey, what can you do? my lesson for this past weekend? i talk to much and i need to just shut my mouth cuz it doesn't do me any good. not like it's gonna help if say anything anywayz...so yeah...

maui was in a word, relaxing. something i really really needed. it was mostly cloudy most of the time there. which was fine by me. still pretty hot and humid, but not too bad cuz the clouds helped. pretty much just lounged around by the pool, beach, and lanai [balcony]. took a trip to hana w/ a tour guide. which was alot easier since we didn't hafta drive it and he took us to some great hidden spots that basically only locals know. he took us to a black sand beach and a red sand beach. beautiful, beautiful. found out our tour guide never really had a "job." started out playin pool when he was like 13 for some guys and that was his first job. then he was a kick boxer, grew pot, got busted and went to jail and rehab, then a construction worker in vegas, and then came back to maui where he grew up and is now a tour guide. how funny...or maybe just weird. whatever. he was a nice guy tho. heard that john travolta was stayin at our hotel. didn't actually see him, but heard that he checked out like on our 3rd day there or sumthin...oh and saw jermaine oneil [sp?] from the indiana pacers at roy's during dinner one nite. he was with his family. this big party of, what else, ASIANS, bombards him right as he's being seated to dinner to take his picture. the whole horde of them basically invade and start snapping pictures. everyone in the restaurant was lookin at them...no one else asked him for pictures, just them...

came home, went to dr appointment and went to work...blah. then had greg, moi, and garrett for the weekend. *oy* overall, they're pretty good. just way too much energy for me, especially after gettin off a plane all nite.

had practice at 8friggin30 in the morning and we set the alarm off but didn't know it. oh well. practice was...interesting, that's all i have to say about that. and now, it's just back to the regular ol grind of the days...*sigh* i'm ready to move to maui now
