No, I haven't disappeared from the world. No, I didn't/don't have the flu. Diagnosis? EXHAUSTION. Basically, my body decided to shut down on me b/c it thot I needed sleep more than I needed to finish stuff [i.e, mui mui's favors, my final project, grandpa's birthday thing, work....]. So instead of going to 3 great parties, church, lunch w/ the kiddies, out to dinner that's been postponed one too many times, and working on stuff, I was flat on my back in bed. I couldn't move. I hurt and ached so much, from I don't know what. But I ached so badly, I couldn't move. That and I was just out. Every once in awhile, this happens to me. I hate when it does b/c I've got stuff going on and I can't finish it b/c I'm laid up in bed. So I keep saying I'll try to manage my time better. But here I am at the hour it's at, posting this. 'Course, I'm taking a break on 2 projects right now too. Yeah, I know, I just spent the weekend recouping and I'm doing it all over again. What can I say, I set myself up for this torture. But I don't know how else to do it. So here we go again.

I'm pissed at Apple. My powercord for my laptop, the prongs on it broke. So last week, I went to the Valley Fair to see about replacing it. I had to wait 3 1/2 HOURS before someone could tell me exactly what was going on and what to do about it. I didn't stay there waiting--i'm not THAT dumb. I bought the Apple Pro Care Protection Plan [extended warranty] when I bought my laptop, it's good for 3 years. So the guy says, it'll cover it. Then he starts inputing stuff into the computer and checking inventory and whatever else and then he says, 'oh weird. i don't know why, but for whatever reason, they'll cover everything BUT the part that's broken. i don't know why not, that doesn't make sense, but yeah....' WTF?! It'll only cost me 10 bucks, but that's beside the point. I paid for the extended warranty so I wouldn't have to pay for anything MORE later on!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I said, whatever, I just need another cord. So he goes to the back to get one. Brings the box out, opens it up, the part i need is missing. Again, WTF?! They're completely out of these lil buggers. So he has to order them and it'll take 3-5 days. 3-5 days w/o power. Just GREAT. This was last Thursday. He says he'll call when it comes in. Well, count the days and have I received a phone call? Hell no. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I need power!!!!!
