i'm sad today....christina flew back to japan & won't be back till january '05. ::sigh:: not enough time in this world to spend w/ her

i've been in such a downer of a mood...couldn't really enjoy the holidays. i did, but i didn't. 1, grandma ho passed away. 2, my cousins couldn't make it up for christmas. 3, mrs hom passed away. 4, darren lim's mom passed away. 5, our friend, sharon, passed away on christmas eve. they were all unexpected, but sharon's was harder to take, prolly because it was on christmas eve. ::sigh:: i know death is all part of life, but does it have to happen all at once? or rather, in these sets? i hate that. and after passing of friends, i have nitemares.

i really did try to enjoy my week. i mean, i DID go all the way to phoenix for a football game. hahhahaha, yes, me, val, dad, grandparents, 3 aunts, 3 uncles, 5 cousins, and 3 friends of an aunt went to go see CAL & Virginia Tech at the Insight Bowl, the day after Christmas! Cal won by a field goal. it was fun...rushed, but fun. almost died on the WAY to the SJ airport. we parked our car at a nearby "park 'n fly" and they had a shuttle take us to the airport. it was actually a taxi. 6 of us squeezed into one. i swear the driver was on some drugs. we ran over those rubber, orange pillar like things, almost crashed into the big yellow trash cans thingys that hold sand or water, and almost ran over a traffic patrol guy. we seriously thot we wouldn't make it to check in, really thot we were going to die! but we actually made it. had to get up at 3:45 am! crazy! it was fun tho...so glad we won! it helped me get my mind off of all the negative stuff for a few hours.

so i think i shall go have a good cry, since i haven't had a chance to yet....nite
