Sweet day! Eyecandy and Superchic[k] concert all in one day! Whoooooooo! =) So yes, I am ALL smiles. Today definetly helped me forget about all the other frustrations that are going on in my life. Before I saw him I was just having one of those days. I wanted to break stuff! Grrrrrr!!! Lots of little things that are out of my control, but I wish I did have control over. ::sigh:: I think God's really trying to enforce the PATIENCE issue with me. I'm trying! Really! So yes, Eyecandy stopped by today and automatically brightened up my day. I think he knows now...d'oh =)

Then Hil, Mere, and I headed up to Sacto for the Joy Williams/ZoeGirl, Superchic[k] concert. Missed most of Joy, which was fine by me. Then Superchic[k] came on! YEAHHHH!!!! They rocked! Matt's still my favorite, even tho Dave seems like the most down to earth. When he was signing our stuff, he asked us our names and personalized it, making it seem like he really REALLY cared about the fans. Not that the others didn't...it just made an impression when he took the time to ask us our names and how to correctly spell them too...the girls, Tricia and Melissa are inspiring to me...They only did about 5 songs tho, which sucked. We sat up in the balcony in the 2nd row. Pretty good seats. But going to that concert made me feel old. There were SOOOOOOOOOOO many little teenyboppers there! They were annoying! Screaming and rushing the stage and everything! Stood in line for autographs at the end and Matt comes down the hallway and holds up his hand to give everyone a High-5. 4 girls in front of me ages 14-16 all say, "OH MY GOSH!!! HE TOUCHED MY HAND!! AHHHHH!!! I'm not going to wash my hand! I'm going to sleep on my hand...." GAG ME. Stupid little highschool groupies. Then they asked some of them to sign the shirt that they were wearing. WHILE they were signing, "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!! This is like SOOOO cool!" ::roll eyes:: All the bandmates made small talk, but when kids reacted like that, they just sort of hurried and continued on. So we tried to talk to them and they talked longer to us! hahahahahahahaha! Superchic[k] has a new drummer, Brandon. He reminds me of Reuben from American Idol. When he gets to the 3 of us, he signs all our stuff and then he goes, "What are you guys, if you don't mind me asking." Me: We're girls B: hahahahaha, no you know what I mean Me: Ok, we're Chinese. B: Ok, that's cool. Just to let you know, I sort of have a thing for Asians. The 3 of us look at each other, "uhhhhh, ok...so does that mean, you'll take a picture with us?" Hahahahahhahahahha! So we got to take pictures w/ all of them individually. They're really down to earth and funny, hopefully we'll get to see them at Spirit West Coast! Hahahhahaha, ask Hil or Mere what THEY did at the very end =P funny, funny, funny. We ended up leaving the church around 11? Then we went to go visit Mere's friends Andy and Gio who live right down the street. Hung out there for about 15 min then headed home. Got home around 1. Not too badly. So now, I'm gettin ready to head to bed. Will be having some problems getting up in the morning, but that's ok. It was worth it....especially if I have really sweet dreams ;)
