so the war has officially started. i do have mixed feelings about it, but, i'm glad SOMETHING is finally being done. i actually had a discussion about the war with someone today. they said that they thot bush shouldn't be going into bomb iraq cuz it "isn't his country." while i agree that it isn't his country, i stated that we're only defending our country. we were harmed in a way that no country should be harmed and by going to war, we're preventing any further occurences. how can you justify letting a psycho, madman who intentionally kills, rapes, and harms his own ppl, go? the person i was talking with, they thot that we should just leave them alone. and i brot up, well, if we just let sept. 11th go, don't do anything to find out who planned it and who helped plan it, we're just inviting something else to occur. i mean, sadaam has already said that he hates america and he purposefully built weapons of mass destruction for us. so we should just sit back and let him bomb us and destroy us? i don't think so. yeah, i hate war, i don't think things should have to lead to war, but when negotiations, inspections, and warnings don't get us anywhere, what are you going to do? just leave it alone and hope it disappears? i think not. so yes, i'm passionate about war. and no, don't think i don't worry about our troops, cuz i am. i'm worrying more than you prolly are cuz my family is out there. it sux not knowing where she is. it sux not knowing if she's actually in port in japan or actually out on the ocean protecting an air craft carrier. it sux knowing that if anything were aimed at that air craft carrier, HER ship has to intercept and take the hit instead. so don't think i don't care about the troops, i do. but something has to be done. sadaam should've been dead long time ago. if it were taken care of when the chance was presented, we wouldn't be in this situation.
