whoooooo-hoooooo! me so happy!
more on that later...went to the cal/stanfurd game sat nite. my cuzzin got me and val student section seats. technically, only students are allowed to sit there [duhh...!] u hafta have the "cal student sections" ticket and a shirt that has "THE BENCH" on it. it's actually a cool lookin shirt. only cal students are allowed to buy them. so she gave me and val her friends shirts to borrow so we could get in. when we get to the door, the lady says, "Let me see your i.d" "oh crap! i forgot my i.d! i got my shirt tho!" "nope. you need your student i.d" my cuzzin gets in and me and val go around the corner and she comes back out on the other side. she was gonna hand me her i.d to get in, but a cop saw us "i don't think so. she needs to get her own i.d" "but they came all this way and she's not gonna go back and get it! the game starts soon!" "this is a sold out game, no exceptions." "but they've never checked for i.d before!" we convince the cop to at least let us try to get in. the 3 of us go to another door and the guy there doesn't even ask us for i.d. he just takes the ticket and we get in. *whew!* then as we get to the door to actually get into the gym, the guy says, "can't let you in w/o your bench shirt." i'm wearin a sweatshirt, "i got it on..." "ok, go ahead" *whew* #2! then as we get to the section, we're about to get to an open the spot, and i'm in the process of takin my sweatshirt off, the guy says, "you don't have a bench shirt." "well, if you give me a minute, i'd finish taking off my sweatshirt and you'd see it." "oh, ok...go ahead" *whew!* #3! we were able to squeeze in on the last row of the section right up against the sports jounalists. that was cool, cuz there was no one behind us, just a wall. the game was pretty good. not TOO exciting...seeing as cal dominated most of the time. they held the lead for the majority. it was only tied once and stanfurd only had a 1 point lead for like 2 minutes. hahahahahahha...pretty cool to see a game that up close; where you can actually here the players yellin at each other they plays and the coaches yellin till their voices were all hoarse. mmmm...and the too see joe shipp that up close again...lol sucha cutie! =D the game ended around 9:30...cal won by 13! hahahahaha! then, met my parents back at my grandparents house. stayed and chatted w/ grandparents for awhile and watched the highlights of the game on news. got home around 11:30. when we got on our street, we saw this poor dog wandering around. she walked right up to our car. when we pulled into the driveway, she came right up to us. she was sorta wet and stinky. peww! but she was so sweet. she looked like a yellow lab golden retriever mix. her tag said her name was daphne and she was from menlo park. how the heck she got to fremont, was beyond me! so i called the # on the tag, but no one answered. we gave her some bread and water and she scarfed it down. we drove her to the animal shelter, but they were closed and the kennel was full. we brot her back home and put her in the garage. gave her some rice and chicken and she scarfed that down too. she was really gentle and sweet. really smart too. if you stopped petting her, she move her head till she was under your hand and get you to start again. hahahahhaa.

yesterday, went to church...no youth service, cuz it was combined. it was nice to just sit and listen and not hafta "do stuff." got home, let daphne out in the backyard to run around, had lunch, and was planning on doing my hw and watching the 49er game, but since i wasn't feeling well, i ended up falling asleep. i think i'm sick...sore throat, a lil cough. blah! and right before my birthday too! SUX! woke up and was gonna do hw, but said forget it. decided to finish watching the rest of the game. my mom finally got ahold of daphne's owners. the owner and her daughter were in london for a week and he son-in-law was watching daphne. he took her out for a walk sat p.m around 8:30, she got muddy and he left her in the backyard. he fell asleep and she chewed her way thru the fence and got out. he realized around midnite she was gone. her owner was sooooo relieved! and her son-in-law only lives 3 houses down from us. so they came by to pick her up...

after that, got ready to go to dinner. my cuzzy, christina, is headin back to rhode island for 2 more weeks to finish up some navy school stuff. then she comes back for a few weeks before heading off to japan; that's where she's stationed. so we had a going away dinner for her and a birthday dinner for me at le cheval. mmm...yummy. busy and noisy there as always. after that, went to grandparents house for dessert and presents. ooo! i got what i wanted! my aunt got me a PANTONE color set!! weeee!!!!!! i'm so happy! i opened the box and screamed! heeheehee! =D it's sooooo cool! she got me the "designer's set" so there's 3 books. whoooo-hoooooo!

ok, i should really get back to my hw. i got sooo much to do and school starts next week. eeks!
